Our Story

The gentler side of concrete

Concreet is a small studio in the North East of England. Everything we sell is cast, sanded and finished by hand — in batches small enough that we still remember every piece.

Made by hand, in small batches

Concrete has a reputation: cold, grey, industrial. We think that sells it short. Cast carefully and finished properly, it is warm, tactile and quietly beautiful — a material that holds light rather than reflecting it.

Every candle vessel, bowl, clock and table top is poured in our own moulds, cured, then hand-sanded and sealed. Because each pour behaves slightly differently, no two pieces are ever quite identical. Small variations in tone and texture are part of the material, not a flaw in it.

Our candles use plant-based wax and natural fragrance. Our soaps are cold-pressed, with no sulphates or parabens. The vessels are designed to outlive what is in them — wash one out and it becomes a pot, a dish, a place to keep your keys.

Furniture, made to your dimensions

Our larger pieces — coffee tables, dining tables — are made to order. That means you tell us the dimensions, the finish and the base, and we build to it. It also means a lead time: these are not pulled off a shelf.

If you have a space in mind and are not sure what will work in it, send us an enquiry. We would rather talk it through first than have you guess.

Handmade in the UK

Cast, finished and packed in the North East of England. Nothing is drop-shipped.

Small batch

We make what we can make well. When something sells out, it is because we have not poured the next batch yet.

Natural ingredients

Plant-based waxes, natural fragrance oils, cold-pressed soap. No sulphates, no parabens.

Built to last

Concrete does not wear out. Reuse the vessels, keep the tables for decades.
