This website is operated by Concreet, a maker of handmade concrete homeware and furniture based in the North East of England. You can contact us at concreteartisanuk@gmail.com.
To be completed by Concreet: the registered trading name, business address and — if applicable — company number and VAT number. UK regulations require a trader to give these details before a consumer contract is concluded.These terms apply to every order placed through this website. By placing an order you accept them. Please read them before you order — if you do not accept them, please do not place an order.
Nothing in these terms limits your legal rights as a consumer. If any part of them conflicts with your statutory rights, your statutory rights prevail.
Adding an item to your basket is not an order. Your order is placed when you complete payment through Stripe, and a contract exists between us when we send you an email confirming that we have accepted it.
If we cannot accept your order — because an item is out of stock, because we cannot deliver to your address, or because we have made a pricing error — we will tell you and refund you in full.
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where it applies. Delivery is charged separately and shown at checkout before you pay.
We take reasonable care to price the site accurately. If an item's correct price is higher than the price shown, we will contact you before dispatching and you may confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.
Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details.
Every item is cast and finished by hand. Colour, tone, surface texture and small variations in dimension differ from piece to piece and from the photographs on this site. This is inherent to the material and is not a defect. Photographs and dimensions are indicative rather than exact.
Tables and other bespoke pieces are made to the specification agreed with you in writing. We will confirm dimensions, finish and lead time before work begins.
Because these goods are made to your specification, the statutory right to cancel does not apply once production has started. Your rights in respect of faulty or misdescribed goods are unaffected.

Goods become your responsibility when they are delivered to the address you gave us. Ownership passes to you once we have received payment in full.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods we supply must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If they are not, you may be entitled to a repair, a replacement or a refund. See Delivery & Returns for how to make a claim.
We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded — including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Otherwise, we are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms. We are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable, or for business losses — we supply these goods for domestic and private use.
Concrete is heavy. Larger pieces should be positioned on a stable, level surface capable of taking the weight, and we are not liable for damage or injury caused by unsuitable installation or placement.
Concrete is porous. Wipe spills promptly, use a coaster under anything hot or strongly coloured, and clean with a damp cloth rather than an abrasive or acidic cleaner. Candles should be burned on a heat-resistant surface, never left unattended, and never left burning when the wax runs low.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales; if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your own courts.
We may amend these terms. The version in force when you place your order is the version that applies to it.
